You are conveniently sidestepping the point that there is no laptop available that has 100% identical hardware to a Macbook Pro making your whole question a pointless thought experiment. If you could find me an IDENTICAL product that had all the same benefits as a Macbook Pro including warranty treatment for less money, of course I'd buy it, but the point is that a "similar" PC laptop is not the SAME.
