It's not overly fun to make, and it can also come with a lot of disappointment

the electric irons aren't very powerful, and the stove ones you need to be quite consistent. The consistency of your batter will also affect how well they come out. You have to time them perfectly or else either they'll burn, turn into a spongy cake texture, or isn't fully cooked.

Agreed with trdood, it really is a hassle to make unless you're doing it for a special somebody.

I think the one inside the old aberdeen was Sam's, who I don't think resides in Vancouver anymore. Don't see his places anymore.
