I agree with the others...but being a G-shock fanatic, I am gonna chime in too!
Get the regular DW-6900, the battery can easily last you 5+ years with heavy usage.
The GW, like what the others said has the "tough solar" and the "atomic time-keeping" functions. BOTH are gimmicks
~The solar thing is practically useless because the rechargeable battery used in the GW needs to be replaced after 10 years or so.
~The atomic time-keeping is useless because it's really hard to get a clear signal here in Vancouver. Mind you, the closest atomic-tower is in California. SO WTF is this function then?? Well, you simply let your watch "Sync" at night-time so that it will have a more accurate time; given that digital watches tends to time-drift (give or take a few seconds).
As for the GLX, it's also known as the G-Glide, it's more geared towards the female crowd also I have seen guys rock them.
