Gotta say, we do make use of such a service - once a month or so, Tony from Hart to Hart Pet Food & Supplies drops off a couple five-pound bags of Riplees Ranch for us.
Sure it's not that hard to walk the three blocks to Pet Planet... except Riplees Ranch only sells through their distributors, and frankly, the mutts LOVE the stuff - we can use it as food AND as treats, and it's like puppy pills - they get all energetic and goofy on it
