But yea I guess I can't do anything about it.
The whole experience irritates me and my intention was to share it and let people know this sort of employer actually exists.
Ya know, it means shit all that you completed your report "with all your due diligence". Is it ok if you come to me for a hair cut, and I butcher it, as long as I tried my absolute best? Shit work is shit work. I don't know you, so I don't know if you're a competent worker or not; you may have done phenomenal work. But I can tell you that good help is hard to find. I seriously doubt you would've been fired if you were a good employee.
But of course a good employee doesn't always mean good work, it also means good attitude.
Regardless of how big of a bitch your boss is, you sound like a spoiled brat.
With each passing year I'm flabbergasted at the work ethic and attitude of young people entering the work force.
When I take on a job, I don't care if my boss is a dick, or is harassing me, I don't care if my coworkers are morons; I do my fucking job. When I take something on, I've taken on a responsibility. My boss could be fucking hitler, it doesn't change the fact that unless I quit, it is my responsibility to do my job to the best of my ability without fucking bitching about it every step of the way. And if I fuck up, not getting fired is a blessing, I'd fully expect to reimburse for my mistakes.

Being an employee is simple. If you get yelled at, ask yourself, if there even a 1% chance I'm getting yelled at for my performance/attitude, and not cause they like yelling?
No? Quit. Yes? Work harder.
