that's bullshit if they don't play continuation.
This past week while playing in a league game, had a case of the defender calling the foul for me as I'm driving to the basket (very little contact but still called it) I didn't think it was a bad enough foul to call it, so it was pretty weird to have the defender just admit to the foul. It wasn't even a strategic move too, not late game situation trying to stop the clock or anything lol
Usually the only time when the defenders call the foul is when they really hack or tie you up.
