nothing, can ever prepare you, for what DMT will show you, and do to you. You will change forever.
Nothing any human says or tries to explain, or will even begin to help you understand. You completely lack the ability to even conceive what it is until you have gone through it (and even then you'll probably have a million more questions).
The dmt experience is more abstract than anything you will ever experience. It is farther away from ordinary reality, or anything that you could relate to ordinary reality, using a language of models, metaphors, poetic expressions etc... (for those of you that don't understand what I mean, it's like talking to a fish, they won't understand a single word of anything you're trying to explain, no language or form of communication can explain it at all).
It's like explaining quantum physics and an orgasm to a 5 year old. Complex, and feels good doesn't even come close. Nothing that clicks in his head will even be close to anything you're trying to explain.

yeah, you can tell the diff between sativa's and indicas. perhaps you've smoked hybrids. Indicas are very chill, relax, couch lock.
Sativas are very... ummm if anyone gets super paranoid its probably from sativas (not to say they're bad). they're very "head stoned", you think a lot, more of a headbuzz, more psychedelic.
overall there's not much difference, but to a stoner you can totally tell.

yeah, I tried and K3 in taiwan just cuz i couldnt get my hands on any weed.
overall i say, if you can get your hands on real weed, smoke real weed. K3 hit you fast, and came down fast. it tastes funny too. it wasn't worth the money. but if you can get it for cheap, why not try it?
no weed beats real weed. lol.
