Confused plot wise, or confused in what to do in the game?
(cause the plot is kinda confusing, or at least I was)

The first one was pretty fun, but got boring really fast, due to the lack of variety in the missions.
Overall, not a bad game to play to kickstart the series,
but if you've played a good deal of the second one, going back is probably not going to be as fun.

The sandbox experience and the free roam to climb anything is a fun experience.
First time for this kind of game when I played AC1.

The major problem was that the game was too repetitive.
Basically you have about 10 targets you have to assassinate.
So objective is to just go to a town. Climb all the watch towers to locate where the target is.
And then go kill him. Yes, while all the other games are somewhat like that,
the issue with AC1 was that you do it exactly the same way each and every assassination.
There's no criteria set up into the plot to create some variety.

So after the first 3 or 4 assassinations, most people are too bored to want to continue on. (I still finished it anyway)

AC2 made a bunch of changes. So it's a lot better. Better fighting, gameplay, story, side quests, etc.
The game didn't feel as linear or repetitive. I really enjoyed it.

AC:B is more or less the same game, but different location. Some new weapons and abilities.
Story line was good imo, and fun side quests.

I haven't found the time to play AC:R yet.
Played into about 10 mins when I first got it, and haven't touched it since.
Think it will be similar to the last 2 games, with some minor tweaks and upgrades like weapons and abilities.

AC3 should be a brand new game built from the ground up. Not some "overlay" like AC2/ACB/ACR.
I can't wait to see what's AC3 like.
