ive done stronglifts before for 6 weeks last year, it got my bench to 140, my bench was 155 x 7 for 1 set a little over a month ago & i actually used 5x5 for flat bench, starting at 135 and got up to 155 5x5, then 160 3x5 & today did 165 x 5, second set 4 reps so 5x5 has defs helped
, planning on starting new routine for bench in 2 or 3 weeks, prob smolov
