Silly thing is, unlike these other hits where it's either late or a check after a player makes a pass.
Daniel never even had possession or control of the puck on that play, EVER.
And I didn't like how Shanahan said the play was to impede Sedin's progress.
Yes, it was, but he brushed off the fact it WAS from retaliation from an earlier hit in the game.
Maybe Shanahan didn't like Daniel's hit either and decided not bring it in account for Keith's suspension?
I'm sure Shanahan was well aware why Keith was motivated to do something so dirty like that.
