South of the Border 7/10
alright documentary by Oliver Stone which got him a lot of flack since he was going against Foreign Policy views of Bush
its mainly about how the USA fosters Coups and how the Media plays into this (not only domestic but foreign media) regarding Hugo Chavez and also about the other South American nations who have turned away from the IMF & US allegiances
parallels of course can be seen with current events
it did seem rather rushed and wasn't as "In Depth" as one would expect but i dont think that was the goal it felt more like a piece just so people could gain a little understanding of what was going on from the opposite pov rather than accept all the biased reports that were coming out (so... it was a biased report too, 'the other side of the coin' basically)
