For my hosting I use Home | Dave's Network I started out with his free hosting for RFD but I upgraded to his paid service. His hosting is pretty fast and I haven't had any problems with it so far. He is also usually on MSN and you can contact him directly if you need any support which is also great. He replies to the emails pretty fast too.

+1 for Namespro. I use them to register my domain names as well. Bonus that they're local too.
