This is actually a pretty good barebone kit... The Llano Cpus are pretty good, as I have the A6 3400(quad) in my laptop. I was able to set several profiles through Kstat10. I undervolted it when I needed more battery, and I overclocked it as well for gaming. Should be able to run all older-games, and most new games (at low-settings).
Umpadupa: If all you're going to do is basic stuff, etc then maybe you should get the barebone kit instead. By the way, how come you got a video card? Onboard should be fine for most tasks.
