My buddy in his 30's makes a lot of money managing fast food. Mind you his father in law owns 7 or 8 McDonalds and he bounces between them helping to run them. His father in law actually started out as a cashier in his teens, worked his way through the system and into head office, helping open up locations overseas before finally making enough money and buying his first location. He's been buying another location every year or two for a while. I have a lot of respect for him because he really did start at the bottom and worked his way up.
