Even if you do, there's a cap on what most plans will pay out and it's less than you'll put into it over a couple of years.

If you do go into a plan you need to examine all their clauses VERY, VERY closely and do the math so you know exactly what they're going to cover and what they won't and find out from your vet what the costs of those things are compared to what your coverage is.
