I don't quite understand the system of how officiating works,
on who has power to make what type of calls in the game.
Why couldn't that goal be called off?
Everyone's looking at the same replays from all the camera angles.
Can a call on the ice not be reverted or something?
I can understand if it's a bad call for a penalty, where it would be hard to cancel the call because play was blown down.
But after a goal or a disallowed goal, play would have been stopped anyway.
So why can't they revert it if proven to be a bad goal based on instant replay.
It's as simple as checking for off-side goals and then disallowing them and then resetting the clock.
(Although even that, there's instances where they don't even bother reviewing that)
I don't understand how all this officiating system works... like when something is not "review-able"
