It dpends though in a Japanese noodle house the louder you slurp your noodles the more delicious it means and makes the cheif happy
I haven't had much issue with this but I know my dad chew with his mouth open time to time so we have to tell him, then he stops.
What I do hate is people chewing and talking at the same time. It drive me nuts! I can't hear what they say and I don't want to look at what they are chewing at
