I don't like the new waitlist system but it doesn't affect me since I can get any class I want due to my super early registration time.
There should be a place in add/drop classes or something that shows you what position you are in, I know there is somewhere but not exactly sure which section.
Also if you are 1st on the list they send you an email and you have a certain time period to respond in order to take the class. I think its 3 hours

I assume they put this new waitlist system in because in the past students would grab as many classes as they could, and then drop them so friends could pick them up.
