A lot of manufacturers were trying to pull off the "selvedge" outseam on their jeans when in reality, the material itself was not true selvedge. (Ulic taught me this and it saved me a few times!)
P.S - Can anybody recommend a place for selvedge denim repair? My 4 year old Nudie Regular Ralf's finally blew its crotch.
