congrats on passing your fundamentals

i recommend AllWest insurance to get your training done right. they do things very thoroughly and step by step, with a proper training system. they are almost always hiring (cuz their turnovers are high due to their sh!t pay: $12/h), with many road agent positions available after 3 months training/probation.

get your 6-12 months experience there and head elsewhere.

HUB might be decent too. they have good benefits and very much support continuing education, and have a good training system too. i suspect their pay is so-so to begin with.

another alternative would be The Co-operators. every location is managed separately. while they all follow a similar system, they are more cultured in their own way. they are different from most other brokers from my experience in how they treat their staffs (in a good way). they also promote continuing education, and i recall they are listed on bc's top 100 employers.
they have one problem though, is that working for the co-op's, you are limited to only co-operator products, unlike other brokers where they may have a wide range of insurance company to write with. (but if you are looking to become a road agent, that may not apply to you. im not even sure if they have a road agent sector)

ibabc.org has a job board that brokers post their hiring ads on:
