Caron Butler (broken hand) will start for the Clippers in Game 3 on Saturday.
He didn't earn the nickname "Tuff Juice" for no reason. A doctor told Caron that his timetable for recovery would stay the same even if he aggravates the injury, so he'll wear a brace on his non-shooting hand and see what happens.
Mike Woodson wants Carmelo Anthony to lose weight and improve his overall game before reporting for training camp next year.
The Knicks' offseason hasn't even begun (a loss on Sunday would do the trick) and this probably won't sit well with Melo, but Woodson has a point -- Carmelo's career postseason record of 16-36 is the worst winning percentage of any player with at least 50 playoff games.
Noah (sprained ankle) is not expected to play in Game 4, and he is doubtful to return during the first round.
Noah has been cleared of any breaks or fractures, but his sprain was of the 'severe' variety. He left Saturday's film session on crutches and didn't speak to the media, so expect the Bulls to lean on Omer Asik and Taj Gibson in his absence.
