Teacher was teaching.

Target girl sat across from me on the other side of the classroom.
I wrote PROM? on a piece of paper and held it up when she looked at me.
She scribbled on a piece of paper and held it back up at me. It said YES. We laughed. People around us laughed.

Teacher: "Now that we've established that PJ and (Girl) are going to prom together, can I continue my lesson?"

That's how I did it.
