All the banks will just tell you to apply online. If you show up at the branch with a resume they will just sit down with you (if they are not busy) and pretend to be interested but in the end you will only get a phone call after you have applied online.

I applied constantly at a bank for 6 months before I got a phone call + interview and this is with zero connections. Banks rarely hire from the outside, I was one of the lucky ones. Right timing I guess.

In this job market, CSR jobs are becoming harder to come by because of competition. Most of the time they would rather hire a FT.

For anyone who's interested, PM me and ill take a look for you guys which branches are hiring and whether its PT or FT work. (I work for TD).
