There's gonna be one LA team advancing to the second round. I'm going with the Lakers to win and the Clippers to lose. The Grizzlies got this series in their grasp. Ths ship might go down for the Clippers.
I agree with Magic Johnson. He said that Mike Brown is gonna get run out of town if the Nuggets win game 7. Yeah, I think the coach will get the blame for loss if the Lakers lose. That being said, Bynum and Gasol haven't played well at all on both ends of the floor. -owner Jerry Bus will be under pressure to get rid of Brown, and perhaps Bynum and Gasol if things don't turn out well.
I'm going with the Lakers because I think Brown's calling out of Bynum and Gasol will give the extra push to those guys to play well offensively and defensively. The coach is taking a risk by pushing some buttons on the big guys. It's a risk that I think will work.
-kind of interesting to see Kobe make an indirect shot at Gasol and Bynum by saying he's happy to get MWP back. Who knows, maybe World Peace will be the catalyst to bring good defensive play in game 7.
Lakers in 7. It will be a hard fought victory for the team though. George Karl's team isn't gonna go down without a fight.
