We don't actually know whether the ref's decided that Brown's 'hit' was clean, or that it was missed--there is a distinct difference. However there have also been instances where the call was not made on the ice, but suspension was still handed out after the fact. So really at this point I don't care about the call or non-call on the ice, I'm more interested in how the league treats this incident after throwing Torres under the bus as the poster boy a few weeks ago.
