question..

so i took the pictures off my itouch and put them onto a folder on my pc desktop.

yet now when i hook my iphone 4 up to my pc and open up the pic directory (the same directory i took the pics off my itouch from) it wont let me paste the pics from my desktop into the ip4 folder?

why is that? i don;t really wanna have to use itunes etc to import, i figured if you can take them off via usb from the directory onto a pc desktop, you could put them back on the same way?
