it's $974 before tax. but that includes the $50 assembly fee so if you want to put it together yourself it'll be cheaper. i also decided to get a 40gb SSD just to put windows and games on it so they load faster. but that's optional you can just use a regular hard drive. the video card is pretty good bang for the buck.. and the i5 is good enough for most things you'll want to do, i don't think i7 is really necessary. plus its unlocked too so you can overclock it if you want.
also debating whether i should get a water cooling system.. any ideas? and maybe a more powerful power supply.
this system should run your games fine.. probably games like battlefield 3 would be tougher on highest settings but i'm pretty sure it'll even run that on medium fine
