It was definitely more special for Bourque, but my point is that winning a Stanley Cup and then retiring what I would consider a perfect ending. Doesn't matter how many cups the player has won before as going out with a bang is always preferred, no?
I'm excited for him because this could be his last season (he's been waffling; leaning towards another season last time I checked), and at the same time we don't know when the next time the NJD will make it this far with him in net.
