Shorn, if I were you, I would get at least a 500w psu for that system. The video card pulls about 200 watts alone, leaving you only 200w for the rest of your system. I'm sure the power supply will run your computer, but you'll be straining it all the time. Your 400w psu isn't gonna be running at the optimum efficiency, so you'll actually be paying more for your electricity bill (compared to a 500-550w psu) and the fan on your power supply will be ramped up all the time.
And I'm pretty sure the OP knows that the motherboard has onboard audio. It's just that a sound card offers much much better sound quality than onboard. I'm pretty sure you would notice if you heard a computer with a good sound card, especially with good speakers.
