And I'm pretty sure the OP knows that the motherboard has onboard audio. It's just that a sound card offers much much better sound quality than onboard. I'm pretty sure you would notice if you heard a computer with a good sound card, especially with good speakers.
not sure if i should trust jesus or not

but even if it is enough i probably will get the 500w then.. i'd prefer it to be more quiet most of the time
