Go to Act 2 -> The Black Soulstone Quest. When you go to that quest, go on WP and go to Ancient Path WP. Now when you get out of the WP walk to the right side, you will see a windy staircase up to Desolate Sands (I think). Along that walk up the staircase you will probably find a Treasure Gob. Kill it and leave/resume and continue!
Whats the success rate for you? I seem to only find him 1/4 tries.
