I know that sounds horrifically lame but really what they do is help you with your job search, with your resume and networking and you'll have a case worker who will help you target jobs that fit your requirements. There is an entire sector of non profit groups that are dedicated to helping people transition careers and find jobs, unfortunately most people don't know much about them.

RDK Career and Employment Services is usually the first point of contact if you have an office in your location, and they will refer you to the program or group that will best help with your needs.
