If I decide to take the job, and they like my performance, I could eventually get a position where I can work whenever I'd have holidays, and take time off when I go to school.

Sounds like you made your decision.
Personally it depends how much they pay and howm stable the job is.
If the pay is good and its something you like to do then go for it
