I know, but I'm just providing a real world example of what might be on your hard drive. Everyday things like songs, videos,etc are perfectly fine running off a HDD. Games won't see much difference with such a small cache anyways, so it's mainly the boot time you're after with a cache which is better on an ssd. People have preferences, just that mine is with an ssd boot
and correct me if I'm wrong, but if you don't care about boot times, you could always just use a ramdisk as a cache instead
