The paddle shift on the frs is quick and responsive between gears. I was impressed. It succeeded where my e-shift Celica fell short.

But there are other factors to consider like practicality. the frs has virtually has no trunk space and leg room for back seats. My celica can fit a canopy, chairs, tables, etc all in one go; ask any rs mod for an eyewitness account and my celica can fit two passengers in the back (if ever u need to give friends an unexpected lift home).

but definitely I would imagine the manual transmission frs would be wayyyyyyy more fun to drive, just like a manual celica.
Same here with my AE86 hatch....The amount of space in the back is uncanny for a sports car.

Regularly used for Ikea moving duties when other cars fell short. Until the Cube came along.
