HELP!!!
Just finished my system, but for whatever reason it fails to boot in Triple Channel or Quad Channel memory mode (by fail to boot... no picture, just turn on for 10 seconds, off, back on, cycle
I have 4 sticks of this stuff
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 16GB 4X4GB PC3-10666 DDR3-1333 9-9-9-28 Quad Channel Memory Kit - Mushkin Enhanced - 993770
Put into slots 1,3,5,7 (per MB instructions), no boot, just turns on for 10 seconds and shuts off.
Put into slots 1,3 (just 2 sticks - dual channel setup), boot perfect
Put into slots 1,3,5 (MB instructions for triple channel), no boot, same as above
Put into slots 1,2,3,4 (dual channel setup), boots fine.
Put into slots 1,5 (dual) boots fine
I'm thinking faulty MB? In compatible/faulty RAM?
CPU: 3930K
MB: MSI X79A-GD45 (8D)
