Left turn lane going thru intersection

Hi there,

I need a confirmation on a traffic law.

If I'm approaching an intersection where there is a left lane for left turn only. While the right lane (curb lane) is for thru traffic going across. After the intersection, there's two lanes where the right lane slowly closed off with arrows on the ground telling you to merge. Which lane should the thru traffic lane go into ? the left lane after the intersection or the merge lane after the intersection ?
(location: North Bound on Griffiths Drive x Kingsway in Burnaby)

Similar question, if the left lane is for left turn only. While the right lane is for thru traffic, but the road is curvy while it's direction of the lane is vague.
(location: East bound Sprott Street x Norland Ave in Burnaby)

Reason I ask is, it's often that reckless drivers tend to drive through the intersection on the left turn lane and I see many close calls everyday. If the left turn lane traffic went thru the intersection and involve in an accident with the car on the right lane, who's fault is it?
