Not sure how this will help Windows sale.

At work we are still using WinXP. Is fast, decent and runs great on older computers (we are talking about Core2Dou here with 2Gb or RAM). Does the job just fine around the office.

The only reason I am using Win7 is because some games and software I use needs to have a more update Windows OS. If I could stick to WinXP I will for sure.

Not sure how well this will do. I been a PC person all my life but ever since I got my Iphone I been leaning towards Apple products more and more (got and Ipad2 didn't like coz I wasn't using it much then got ipad3 which I use everyday more than my PC).

It really depends on the user. I used to play games a lot Download a lot of movies so overall a PC is better for me. I am starting to play games less and less and most of the time when I am online I am either watching movies, reading blogs and other websites and I find it a lot easier to do it on my iPad. The interface on the iPad is simple to use and runs decently fast.

Not sure if Microsoft is heading the right directions with this. Sure the idea is great but it might not sell out due to their poor OS. Let's face it everytime microsoft release a new OS there are tons and tons of bugs and usually it takes a good at least a yea with updates to get it somewhat decent.

I am not even sure if I want to buy a computer when the old I am using crap out on me. This might capture some users who likes the windiwos enviorment but for a more casual base user they would perfer iPad coz is much much easier to use than Windows product. My parents could easier use my iPad without much issue but when they are on win7 is so much more harder for them.
