Now there are rumblings from PC vendors who are not happy they have to compete against MS. For the most part, MS has stayed out of the PC business and was content to let others make the hardware while they provide the OS. Now they are competing directly with those same vendors by selling hardware.
I wonder how much MS "tacks on" for a Win 8 license to the price of their own tablets, or if they will eat the cost to help gain traction in the market. Meanwhile vendors will be paying for a license on every tablet they sell.
