The hardware doesn't matter as long as it's competitively matched with others. It's the software/hardware integration and ease-of-use that matters. As much as I hate the arrogance of Apple today, iPad is still unmatched in term of convenience and easy to use.

The Pro model's keyboard has actual travel (albeit only 1.5mm) when the key is depressed. I'd say that counts as tactile.
Also, HOW are they getting it wrong again? Can you elaborate?
