Hi all!

My coworker's 2004ish Mercedes C230 sedan wasn't changing gears, and brought it to the dealer to have a look.
They told him the transmission, torque converter, and radiator required replacement (along with some other stuff I forgot).
The parts was quoted as $9000, and labor between 2-3000.
Considering C230s are on autotrader for about 16k, he's not sure what to do.
He's going to call 3rd party shops on Monday, but does anyone know how much those parts would roughly cost at 3rd party shops for that car?
