Yes, i owned one and so far put 1650km on it. 3rd gear in AT have the torque dip, the MT have it too i believe but i don't know if its as obvious. If you ever driven an IS-F you will feel right at home, (the tranny is the same as the IS-F with 2 less gear) the shifts are fast and precise but a little jerky depending on throttle position.
Downshift are well executed but like the MCT in the C63 sometimes it will not let you go ahead with a downshift it rev near the red line. The IS-F/FR-S shifts feel faster than merc's MCT and bit more direct, but nowhere near bmw's M-DCT
Its a good transmission but I still feel it suits the IS-F more than the FR-S.
