Recon604, request an official transcript from UBC to be sent to Langara. In the mean time, if you need prerequisites before your registration date you should ask for course overrides from the professors - promising them that you will have the prerequisites ASAP.
Trust me, you DON'T want to get stuck on the waitlist for the majority of your courses. I was actually in the same position last July in this thread
