I'm trying to bulk while intermittent fasting too right now. Building muscle while losing fat might be a bit optimistic, but keeping the fat gain to a minimum is definitely feasible. Just make sure you don't try gain too much too fast. I'm aiming for 4-500 calories above maintenance requirements a day.
As for my experience so far, everything's great. I feel more "fresh" when I work out fasted and have no shortage of energy. The only challenge is trying to cram the majority of my calories into the first two meals after breaking the fast can be tough. My stomach feels like it's shrunk after not eating for 16hrs. Oh well, that's a challenge I will gladly accept (I love to eat until I'm stuffed).
