I'm old enough to remember Consumers Distributing. They'd send you a catalog every year. You go to the store, and fill out a slip of what you want. I remember going there with my dad to buy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures. It took me so long to get all of them. All of them were usually out of stock, except Raphael. :P.
