So this weekend is supposed to be stupid hot, and I've been thinking it's time to get the Mini-Mutts back to the beach... fortunately low tide closely coincides with the end of Groucho's nosework class (about 2:30pm), so we're thinking of hitting East Beach for a little romp in the sand and ocean! Anyone want to come join the fun??
"East Beach" is part of the native land on the east end of White Rock, so there's TONS AND TONS of areas where dogs are allowed to run free on the sand. If you know where the Washington Avenue Grill is, there's a parking lot right behind that where you can park (something like $6 for the day - dirt cheap), then head through the fence and up over the tracks, and onto the beach.
