I am looking for an all around bike? I was reading a bit online and seems like a hybrid bike is the way to go, but then i asked a friend and he told me they are for old people? He then said to just get a mountain bike instead and I was like WTF?

My suggestion is...buy my bike!
I have an old GT Mountain bike that I'm looking to sell. I'll throw in a pair of brand new slicks, then you can commute on it if you like.
