How much are you pressing? If it's not super heavy it might just be a technique thing. Try bringing your elbows more forward so you can balance the weight without having to hyperextend your lower back by leaning back excessively.

120 at 160 body weight but i realize my form has been bad the entire time, next session going to lower the weight and use proper form, thanks for the reply
