Tips for initiating without coming off as a whore or awkwardly horny (IMO):
1.) Causally walk to the bedroom say..."I'm going to go relax on the bed....wanna join me?" and give a little smile.
2.) While sitting on the couch, put your hand on his thigh and slowly move it higher.
3.) "I feel like taking a shower...wanna come?"
4.) Offer to give him a neck/back massage. Have him sit on the floor in front of you while you are sitting above him in the couch/chair. Rub for a bit then start kissing his neck.
5.) Tell him you bough new bra/panties....then ask him if he wants to see them.
