I actually remember installing games into dos and executing them from dos (Duke Nukem, Worms). There was also a game where you had to destroy the other person's building with bananas, you had to put in the angle of throw and velocity of throw, lol.
I also remember executing games from DOS-Shell.

When your pc booted in DOS and you have to type cd whatever for commands. None of this boot into windows and click on stuff to open.
